Available in Crafting Packs, designed for summer and winter months, as well as on its own, the development of the KMCS Adaptive Ghillie Mesh (AGM) took the best part of a year to perfect. It is the evolution of traditional ghillie crafting materials to bring the most lifelike, lightweight, and affordable, artificial vegetation to the ghillie crafting community.
So what is it that makes Adaptive Ghillie Mesh so special? As the name suggests, it adapts… to lighting conditions. Natural vegetation reacts to sunlight in a way that is almost impossible to mimic using traditional materials, as the sun hits a leaf the colours become vivid and intense, the brighter the sunlight the more vivid the greens become. And that is exactly how AGM works. Unlike materials such as tulle, who’s colours wash out in sunlight, or cottons which darken and create shadows, AGM intensifies it’s tone while at the same time allowing light through minimising shadows.
What AGM allows ghillie crafters to do is create the most lifelike ghillie suits ever seen without the need for adding natural vegetation. It is applied using the supplied micro cable ties and can even be added straight to BDUs, pouches, chest rigs, helmets or RIFs. You don’t need a traditional style ghillie or leaf suit to add some extreme concealment to your load out. Just a small amount applied to areas of your kit can have a very surprising effect on your level of concealment.
